Marsha and Family: My heart goes out to you in the loss of your father and loved one. It is my prayer that God will hold you in the hollow of His hand and comfort you in the days to come.

Dear Mrs. Dickerson: I want to express my deepest sympathies to you and your family for your loss. I did not know your husband but I work with your son Bill in Atlanta. The process of grief is a hard one and takes time. The one thing I know for certain is that, after over 60 years of marriage, the love you have for Mr. Dickerson and the love he had for you will stay with you and your children and grandchildren forever. I came across a poem after my parents passed and I think of it often: Please don’t be sad and do not weep I’m still with you; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn’s rain. I am with you in the mornings light I am the soft stars that shine at night. At times it will seem like we’re apart But I’m still with you; I am in your heart. Deepest sympathies, Jeff Smith
